Well, like I said, I was posting more to spark ideas than actually proposing we arm our robot. However, what about a laser tag playing robot? Safer than paintball; more accurate than nerf...
The downside of laser tag is that other people have to think they're playing.
With Nerf -- only the robot needs to think someone is playing. :)
I also like the idea of the physical challenge. This is a physical entity. Lasers are too precise.
One nice thing is that it'd probably be reasonably easy with the laser to track where it's actually hitting (compared to where you think you shot). With Nerf, that might be much, much harder...
